Worst. Day. Ever.

So the past 24 hours have been fairly horrible. (Warning, this could get kind of long).

It started off with Randy coming home because he needed to print out some documents before getting some PCS stuff done. Not a problem, except our printer chooses that moment to die. After an hour of trying to fix it, and Randy even having spent $60 on new ink for it, I finally grit my teeth and go to the store to buy another. $100 on my credit card and about another hour later, he is finally able to print out his stuff. So he leaves and shortly after we get a call from him that David, Britt's boyfriend who was in the field, needs us to come get him because he's back for some unknown reason. So we turn around from where we were going to feed their dogs and go back on base. We ended up waiting for over an hour with Alexis fussing in the back seat without a clue of what's going on just to find out we're waiting in the wrong place. He finally calls us, we locate him, and find out we might as well just go home because of a lot of BS going on. Basically, to put it short he got screwed and there wasn't a reason for us to come.

The rest of the evening was pretty uneventful so I'll move on to today.

This morning I had my appointment to turn in all my paperwork for the pregnancy and get my blood test. The appointment went quickly and I was soon in the lab to potty in a cup and get stuck with a needle. Now, I'm not a fan of needles, but I took it like a champ. All 7 vials. So the woman taking the blood takes the arm band off and I wait a minute. I thought I was fine to stand, but boy was I wrong! I make it two steps and start puking in my mouth. I just barely make it to the trash can as the three technicians in the room watch and wonder what the hell is going on. Between my second and third go in the trash can, I manage to gasp out that I'm pregnant and it's morning sickness. The girl who took my blood was seriously concerned and was mid-way freaking out on me. One of the techs was really nice though and handed me a pack of mustard. He said he had seen it happen before, and that putting some mustard in your mouth can actually get rid of the nausea. He was so nice I could have cried.

I was fine after that little ordeal, though highly embarrassed that they had to watch that, so I went in the cup and went on my way. Just to realize I had forgotten my military ID. I had to go back and ask them if they had seen it, feeling entirely awkward. x.x

I guess some good stuff came of today though. Randy got a lot of stuff finished and we have people coming to pack our stuff the 20th, the carpet cleaners coming the 21st, and we are officially out of the house the 22nd. So that's progress! The nurse at my appointment even gave me sea bands to wear from now on to prevent nausea. Though from what I hear, I need to be near a toilet when I take them off.... the nausea could catch back up with me pretty quickly. But they will come in majorly handy on my flight next weekend.

Speaking of my flight, I have a group project next week for school. We had to inform our teacher of our preferred time slot as it's a vocal presentation, and I had requested Saturday of all days without even thinking about the fact that I'm leaving that day. So I had to email my teacher and let her know. Thank god she hadn't set the presentation slots yet! I'm hoping that she can get me on the one the following Sunday, otherwise I may be screwed on 1/3rd of my grade. T.T

Over all that's been it. Just a really bad day and ready for it to be over with. If I could just get over my constant desire to sleep today, I'll be happy.
